Consider

Tresham College, a Further and Higher Education provider with three campuses in Northamptonshire serving over 10,000 part time and full time students, appointed Concept4 to overhaul its digital and print communications following a competitive pitch. Noting their printed prospectus still added value to the College’s marketing communications, Tresham first tasked Concept4 with the delivery of a suitable School Leavers’ prospectus to supplement its digital strategy.

Create

Mass production of a large and detailed off line publication was deemed not to be environmentally sustainable, with emphasis on reducing pagination, individual 'pick and pack' department brochures and better integrating the prospectus with online channels. Directing prospectus browsers to the College website and social media channels offered the user improved engagement opportunities to help maximise relationship building and interactivity.

Next up was the College’s website. Their previous design was outdated, corporate and not at the level required to compare favourably with the best in class or direct competitors. The CMS was inflexible and search engine performance had dropped noticeably. Concept4 created a completely overhauled design interface allied to an intuitive, easy to use CMS and MIS course feed drastically reducing administration time. Even with this course feed, the College can individualise course pages with photos, videos and student profiles

Communicate

The College also operates the National College for Motorsport based at the Silverstone Circuit, running training programmes specifically aimed at training young people to work within the motorsport sector. Based on a positive working relationship with the College, Concept4 were soon selected to create the National College for Motorsport’s first website.

The design of the Part Time Course Guide followed, along with a cover design for the Higher Education guide, each carrying forward the ‘app cloud’ theme, used to reinforce the ‘choose your own future' strapline. All in all, an outstanding example of the cross media skills and in-depth experience of Concept4 working in the education sector.
