We have been working closely with this Southern independent
girl’s school to improve their visibility on the web as well as the
user experience of their website.
Again, the site benefited from a responsive rebuild to make
the most of their incoming mobile traffic. Bounce rate and visit
lengths dramatically improved.
Seeking further improvement, we optimised page templates to
maximise engagement. A sidebar navigation allowing users to
move between pages within a section more easily helped to
increase the page views per session.
Bounce Rate
The bounce rate, given as a percentage, represents the
number of visitors who enter the site and then leave
without viewing any other pages but the one to which
they arrive. A high bounce rate is usually considered to
be bad.
