Consider

Following a competitive tender, Concept4 were selected to design and develop the first ever website for the National Centre for Modern Languages (NCML), a fledgling institution based in Libya. A main deciding factor was our extensive experience and knowledge in the education sector. Responding to a detailed technical brief, we prepared a design and functional scope that would meet our client's needs for a robust, open source website to promote their language courses, exam preparation courses and professional consultancy services. Our solution was required to be expandable in both design and hosting solutions as NCML grows its offer.

Create

Using the established NCML brand and colour scheme, we designed a modern, uncluttered responsive layout to provide rapid access to information on courses, services and enrolment information. Importantly, the website is offered in three languages - English, French and Arabic, with the latter meaning that a right to left reading version was required. A language plugin for the CMS makes it easy to create and manage three versions of each page and input accurate content individually (a simple Google Translate tool could potentially deliver inaccurate results).

Communicate

Weekly Google Hangouts with NCML ensured the project kept moving at pace. Launched in July 2016, the website was delivered on time and to our client's budget, ready for their key recruitment and enrolment periods. We've been thanked by the Centre's Director for our hard work, although it has to be said this is one of those successful projects where the client was equally as keen to put in the effort to ensure the best possible outcome.
