It’s been a busy month despite Easter holidays and lots of our education clients being on their jolly holidays! So, just what have we been up to?

New website for Dallam School

We launched a stunning boarding website for long standing client Dallam School, one of England’s few state boarding schools that gives students who live further away, access to an outstanding English education in a prestigious secondary school. Their website homepage uses full screen impactful video to showcase the school and give users a glimpse into what life is like boarding at Dallam.

Awesome new features for Homework4!

As an early adopter of Homework4, Harrogate Grammar School quickly realised there was huge potential to utilise the Homework4 system for much more than homework, so we partnered with them to develop a bespoke termly reporting module as part of their platform.

Alongside this, they wanted to encourage more interaction by students for termly reporting, so we’ve worked with them to develop a Student Self Review Survey. Students complete the survey at the end of each term, including looking at how they embrace school values, their attitude to learning and how they’re developing employability skills. On completion, they receive feedback along with advice and guidance; this is then made into an easy to understand Academic Productivity Report with individual scores for attendance, behaviour, attitude to learning and the survey. An overall score is produced with appropriate feedback as to how each student is progressing and parents also have access. This is an invaluable tool for the school to quickly identify problems and reward successes, utilise at parents evenings and begin conversations with students to intervene and support.

We had a wedding!

Our fantastic Client Service Manager Luke married his lovely Hannah in a beautiful ceremony drenched in gorgeous sunshine! What a day they picked for their nuptials and we wish them every happiness in the world, especially with a baby on the way, due this August.
