Process

This is our typical website creation process. We’ll prepare a clear website timeline at the start of your project detailing milestone dates to ensure we stay on track and meet your deadline.

Consider

The process begins with a kick off meeting. This brings together all the key people in the process. This initial phase is largely dedicated to research and discovery, enabling us to fully understand your vision for the website. In addition we are clarifying the functional, technical and creative requirements. For example an assessment of integration with third party systems. Following this, early in the process, an accessibility audit review and report are produced for consideration. Also at this stage the sitemap is created. Ideally content is now planned and generated. If SEO considerations are key they would also be factored into this early phase.

Create

The creative process now begins with the generation of initial visual concepts. The website is beginning to come to life. This is where your ideas really start to take shape, and working together, we make some magic happen. Following feedback and revisions the final design is signed off and work commences on the website template development. This is a pivotal stage of the website creation and is followed by two others – the integration to the Content Management System and the content population itself. Again SEO implementation may be relevant here.

Communicate

In all cases interaction and good communication with the customer is key to a successful project. At this stage final checking and testing is complete alongside a final accessibility check. Once all stakeholders are happy the website is signed off. A Go Live date is scheduled and CMS training takes place. Following the Go Live the process is far from concluded. We are looking for long term relationships with our customers, with human contact being at the heart of this. As such there is then a grace period where final tweaks and improvements can be made. Following this we still conduct regular reviews to ensure all is well with your website and you are making the most of it.
