When Crown Paints were looking for an agency to develop a ground breaking app for consumers to be able to browse their range of colours by virtually ‘painting’ walls in their house, we were their first choice.
Create
We designed and developed MyRoomPainter app which allows the user to visualise the entire Crown Paints family colour range on any image. With the use of complex, intelligent programming, MyRoomPainter app enables the user to virtually paint their entire home. No more need to tirelessly try different colour samples and swatches. The user can even save multiple colour schemes for comparison as well as send the chosen palette to their local stockist with its GPS store finder.
Communicate
The MyRoomPainter app was iterated a number of times over the years, to ensure it retained a user-friendly format as smartphones went through rapid cycles of hardware, screen size and software updates, always enabling the user to easily pinpoint paint products – from Crown Paints (retail), Crown Trade, Sadolin and Sandtex.
